About Us:

Dori Saves Lives is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to saving lives through traffic safety education and advocacy. Since 2004, we’ve championed legislation, awareness campaigns, and youth education programs across Florida. Learn more: http://www.dorisaveslives.org

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and dependable assistant to support the Chairman of Dori Saves Lives. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a former State Representative and nationally recognized traffic safety advocate on high-impact projects—including a major new partnership in autonomous vehicle education.

You’ll get direction—but we’re not looking for someone to be micromanaged. You need to be a self-starter, someone who gets it, executes, and brings new ideas to the table.

Responsibilities:
    •    Assist with scheduling, email management, and task follow-up
    •    Run social media accounts (especially X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
    •    Use or integrate AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Canva, scheduling tools) to streamline content and comms
    •    Support event planning (legislative meetings, public events, club appearances)
    •    Help manage communications with schools, community leaders, and stakeholders
    •    Optional but valuable: Fundraising/networking support, especially if you have donor contacts

Requirements:
    •    Must live in the Boca Raton, FL area
    •    Must be comfortable taking direction, but able to run with a project independently
    •    Experience with social media, AI tools, and content creation
    •    Strong writing and communication skills
    •    Organized, flexible, and responsive
    •    Bonus: Connections in philanthropy, education, or politics

Why This Role Is Special:
    •    You’ll have a front-row seat to the growing world of autonomous vehicle safety
    •    You’ll work with someone who’s helped pass lifesaving laws in Florida
    •    You’ll be part of a mission that genuinely helps people—not just a job

How to Apply:

Please email your resume and a short note about why you’re interested to Fldotsmvp@gmail.com
📍 Applicants must be local. If you do not live in the Boca Raton area, please do not apply.
