As a key member of the First Miami Hospitality Team, you will have the chance to serve our community while bringing a smile to everyone's faces. Our organization values a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and as a Hospitality Intern, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining that environment.
Support our Sunday experience with a focus on welcoming, organization and behind-the-scenes logistics.
Responsibilities may include:
- Help coordinate all aspects of our hospitality program, including greeting members, directing visitors, and organizing volunteers.
- Ensure that all members and guests receive a warm welcome and are made to feel comfortable and valued.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all hospitality areas.
- Assist in managing the coffee/ snack bar and bookshop
- Decorate the church for special holidays and events
Requirements
- A warm and friendly personality, with excellent customer service skills.
- Must be available most Sunday mornings and early afternoons
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Comfortable working in a faith-based environment and supporting its values.
Hours and Pay
- 5 hours/ week (usually Sundays 7:30am- 12:30pm) with opportunity for added hours
- $25/ Hour
