U.S. Senator Internship Program

The Lincoln office of U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts is accepting applications for its Fall 2025 internship program. This program offers students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience with the federal legislative process while supporting the Senator’s work on behalf of Nebraskans.

While preference is given to Nebraska residents, students from all states are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates are those with a strong interest in public service, a desire to engage with their community, and an appreciation for the American political system.

Intern responsibilities include answering phones, welcoming visitors, and assisting with various administrative tasks in a small office setting. This is a part-time position requiring 12–16 hours per week. Start and end dates are flexible to accommodate academic schedules.
