Strategy Associate
Summary:
The Strategy Associate will be responsible for working on high-impact strategic initiatives across the business. The Strategy Associate will possess strong analytical capabilities, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Structure and analyze complex business challenges, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics within WLFC’s areas of business.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive strategic initiatives forward.
- Create compelling presentations, reports, and communication materials for internal stakeholders, board members, and external partners.
- Support the preparation and execution of the company's annual strategy day, contributing to agenda setting, material development, and facilitation.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 2+ years in consulting, corporate development, or an in-house strategy team; experience in the aviation and sustainable energy sectors is a plus.
- Proficiency in economic modeling, data analysis, and strategic evaluation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Visio, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience crafting presentations and reports for senior audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and flexible approach to challenges.
Travel/Misc.:
- Moderate travel as needed; International and Domestic.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones as needed.
