Event Assistant Manager Intern- Fall 2025 Internship (Atlanta/Marietta Area)

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a dependable, energetic, and motivated Event Assistant Manager Intern to support our Atlanta-area operations during Fall 2025. This position offers hands-on experience in hiring, scheduling, team management, and onsite event execution. You’ll work closely with our Atlanta Area Manager to support key events and staffing efforts. The primary venues you will assist with include Kennesaw State University football games, Atlanta United 2 soccer matches, and other various local events throughout the Atlanta/Marietta region. We understand the demands of being a student or working a second job, and we are highly flexible with academic schedules and personal obligations. However, we do require that interns be available to work KSU football game days, as these events are critical to our operations. This is a paid internship with the potential to qualify for academic credit depending on your program’s requirements. It’s ideal for students or recent graduates interested in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or live event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with staffing coordination and weekly scheduling for upcoming events
- Use scheduling software to communicate with team members, track shifts, and manage availability
- Help recruit and onboard new staff by reviewing applications, conducting screenings, and preparing team members for event success
- Support the check-in and check-out process during events, ensuring staff are present, in uniform, and assigned correctly
- Monitor staff performance and assist with resolving issues on-site as needed
- Maintain open communication with your supervisor and team to ensure smooth day-of-event execution
- Represent EPI in a positive, professional, and approachable manner at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required; current college students majoring in hospitality, event management, sports management, or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communicator who works well under pressure
- Ability to think on your feet and handle last-minute changes with a positive attitude
- Familiarity with the Atlanta/Marietta area, Kennesaw State University, or Fifth Third Bank Stadium is a plus
- Willingness to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
- Able to pass a background check
