Internship Opportunity: Public Affairs Intern (Remote)

Position: Public Affairs Intern (Remote)

Duration: Flexible – can begin as soon as possible (semester-based or as required by the academic institution)

Compensation: Academic Course Credit and Professional Recommendation Letters

Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking and summarizing legislative developments and policy changes relevant to our clients.
• Conduct research on public policy issues, legislation, and political developments.
• Support fundraising efforts through database management, outreach communications, and event planning.
• Assist in drafting reports, briefing materials, social media content, and newsletters.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student studying Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, or related fields.
• Strong interest in government affairs, public policy, and political processes.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools (Zoom, Slack, Google Suite, etc.).

Learning Outcomes:

• Gain practical, hands-on experience in public affairs and political consulting.
• Develop valuable professional relationships and networks within Florida politics.
• Receive academic credit (subject to institution’s approval).
• Obtain personalized letters of recommendation based on internship performance.
