Overview:

ULimo is building a brand-new mobile app that will revolutionize group transportation by making party bus and limousine bookings seamless, social, and smart. We’re looking for a Native App Developer Intern with experience in React Native and an interest in backend integration using Supabase.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on architecting and managing backend functionality — including user authentication, database structure, and serverless functions — while working closely with our frontend and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and manage Supabase services (PostgreSQL database, authentication, storage, and functions)
Build and secure user auth flows (sign-up, login, permissions)
Write database queries and logic for core features like booking, payments, and real-time updates
Create and maintain API endpoints for mobile frontend consumption
Collaborate with the frontend team to test, optimize, and debug integrations
Monitor backend performance and handle version control (Git/GitHub)

Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience working with Supabase, Firebase, or other BaaS platforms
Knowledge of SQL and data modeling (PostgreSQL preferred)
Familiarity with authentication best practices and role-based access
Comfort with serverless function logic using JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills
