
Unity UI Developer Intern
What You’ll Do
- Translate Figma wireframes into responsive Unity UI using UI Toolkit & TextMesh Pro.
- Bind real‑time patient dashboards and indicators to Firestore data (Unity + Firebase SDK).
- Build reusable prefab components & UI systems to speed future feature work.
- Migrate JSON‑based data to structured Firestore collections/documents and write Google Cloud Functions for automated backups, analytics triggers, and notifications.
- Collaborate via Git (feature branches, pull‑requests, code reviews) and participate in weekly stand‑ups / QA reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing or enrolled in BS, MS/PhD in CS, CE, or related field; GPA ≥ 2.5.
- Solid C# or strong OOP background in another language with willingness to ramp up on C#.
- Coursework or project experience with Firebase, Google Cloud, or AWS services.
- Comfort reading/writing JSON & REST payloads; familiarity with Git workflows.
- Interest in HIPAA‑compliant data handling and secure cloud architecture.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Prior Unity, Unreal, or other game‑engine UI work.
- Experience with NoSQL (e.g., Firestore, MongoDB).
- Exposure to React / Flutter—helpful when mapping web/mobile UI patterns to Unity.
- Knowledge of analytics, dashboarding, or medical‑device data pipelines.
