
OSDIA Non-Profit Fall Intern
The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), the oldest and largest national organization representing Italian American men and women, is seeking interns for the 2025 fall semester in its National Headquarters in Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
Ideal candidates possess excellent writing and verbal communications skills, adaptability in a changing environment, interest in non-profit operations/membership-based organizations, and proficiency in MS Suite. Candidates should also be detail-oriented, a team-player, and able to demonstrate professional phone etiquette.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Aiding staff with preparations for large events
- Maintaining and creating membership-related documentation
- Supporting social media and marketing communications (i.e. press releases, emails, etc.)
- Assisting with website-related projects, including content development
- Answering calls, handling correspondence/mail production, filing, database maintenance, and other administrative tasks
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or have graduated within the last two years. All areas of study are encouraged to apply. Italian language skills are a bonus.
Internship Session:
The program will run from September 3, 2025-November 7, 2025. Interns are expected to work 10-15 hours per week. Schedule is primarily weekdays, but availability the weekend of October 4 and 5, 2025 is required.
Compensation:
Interns will receive a stipend of $1000.
