Front-End Software Engineer
A mission-driven SaaS company making waves in the social impact space is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to help evolve its scalable grants management platform. This is a fully remote opportunity (US-based candidates only) with a preference for Central or Eastern Time Zones. Role:
As a Front-End Engineer, you'll:
๐ป Implement new and intuitive UI features for a widely used grants management product
๐ Refactor legacy components to improve performance and maintainability
โ๏ธ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to ship cohesive features
๐งช Participate in code reviews and enhance developer experience across the team
๐ Document design decisions and create internal guidelines
๐ Coordinate with globally distributed teams (meetings primarily 9โ12 AM EST)
Requirements:
๐ผ 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
โ๏ธ Deep expertise in React and Redux
๐ ๏ธ Comfortable converting class components to functional ones
โ๏ธ Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (preferably AWS)
๐ง Strong grasp of Agile and software engineering best practices
๐ค Proven ability to mentor others and thrive in a collaborative team
โ๏ธ Excellent written communication and documentation habits
Benefits:
