FerenComm Fall 2025 Public Relations Internship Program (For Academic Credit)
FerenComm is currently seeking candidates for our Fall 2025 Internship Program (For Academic Credit - Hybrid and Remote Positions Available)
Looking to break into entertainment publicity? FerenComm's fall internship is akin to an industry masterclass -- a unique opportunity to gain experience under the supervision of the firm’s exceptional staff. Female-owned and led, we specialize in the publicity of award-winning TV and audio brands including AMC, AMC+, Apple TV+, Amazon’s Prime Video, STARZ, Audible, Onyx Collective/Hulu, We TV, The Walt Disney Company, BBC America, TNT, SundanceTV and more.
During our immersive program, students have a front-row seat to all the action working alongside our passionate, dedicated team in a collaborative, nurturing environment - one that will enrich a student's academic journey. From learning all the ins and outs of campaign work to accessing one-on-one guidance from best-in-class communicators, students gain insight into effective strategies that meaningfully impact the cultural zeitgeist and fuel fandom, making it an invaluable pre-graduation opportunity.
What You'll Do:
Interns advance their understanding of the entertainment industry and unlock their potential through a broad range of opportunities: internal creative brainstorms, client-facing calls, weekly staff meetings and access to top-level C-Suite executives and media through our "Seat at the Table" series. Additionally, FerenComm’s interns have direct, unhindered access to experienced leaders for one-on-one conversations about their career trajectory.
FC's interns gain practical experience in client relations by monitoring news, researching and updating media lists, drafting press materials, supporting client assignments, attending events including red carpets, and working with supervisors to identify promotional assets. The internship culminates in an end of semester presentation to the staff, an integral part of FerenComm’s program.
Who You Are:
- Ideal candidates should be passionate about TV and pop culture with solid verbal, written and organizational skills.
- We seek proficient, detail-oriented, self-starters with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines -- most importantly, candidates should be enthusiastic, curious, approachable, and professional - and they must understand the importance of discretion.
- Our culture revolves around mentoring and seeing people's highest. We work hard but have enormous respect for each other and always have fun in the process of bringing our campaigns to life.
The Details: This is currently a remote position (although there are occasional in-person opportunities for students based in the New York area). All prospective interns must have access to a laptop and wifi and when possible, participate in weekly virtual staff meetings.
The application deadline for Fall 2025 is Friday, August 1. After this date, we cannot guarantee your application will be considered.
