Role Overview

Psybr Health is seeking a contract VR/XR Developer to assist with the rapid prototyping and build-out of our immersive therapy environments and clinician tools. This role is ideal for an early-career developer or student with Unity and VR experience looking to gain hands-on experience contributing to a real-world digital health solution.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with CTO, CEO, and product design team to implement VR therapy environments in Unity.

Build and refine interactive VR components (CBT modules, VRET rooms, AI-triggered dialogue, etc.).

Integrate OVR (Meta Quest) toolkits and Passthrough/hand tracking capabilities.

Implement light networking logic for multi-user support and therapist-guided sessions.

Troubleshoot bugs and assist in preparing build files for testing and demo.

Preferred Skills

Proficient in Unity (C#) development with experience in VR or XR environments.

Familiar with Oculus SDK / Meta Quest hardware.

Experience with XR Interaction Toolkit, OVRPassthroughLayer, and scene optimization.

(Preferred) Experience with Photon/Multiplayer networking, AWS, or Unity Analytics.

Good communication and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Current computer science or game development student OR early-career developer.

Must have a portfolio or example project demonstrating VR/XR work.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
