Social Media/ Marketing/ PR Interns/Summer/Fall 2025-Winter 2026
Prior to starting this or any UNPAID internship, you must contact your internship coordinator or faculty advisor at your university or college to see if this position meets the requirements for academic credit. The internship begins December 15th. Do not apply if you graduating this year.
Ideally, this internship is for more than one semester.
The social media intern will work alongside several other interns in creating content on all social media platforms:
- Assist in creating relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels).
- Work with Social Media Manager and other interns to generate, edit, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, reels, and news)
- Do at least 60 minutes of engagement daily on all platforms.
- Edit videos.
- Research wedding publications and podcasts and write pitches, if studying PR/journalism
- Research to find influencers who are engaged. Outreach.
- Sense of design, aesthetics. Able to use Canva and other social media software
- Work for school/academic credit and extraordinary experience
- Minimum 10-15 hours a week for two consecutive semesters or more.
You should be a skilled, tech-savvy writer who can create appealing, insightful posts that will reach and grow our audience and drive up engagement.
Work for academic credit and extraordinary experience. Potential to be hired afterward if you are a senior.
Other requirements:
- Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
- Creativity and adaptability.
- Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
- Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords.
- College student achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Supervision, mentorship, and guidance will be done by the founder/CEO and social media person.
The internship is highly rewarding, fulfilling, and productive and is of the highest standard of education in digital marketing, PR, journalism, and content creation.
Location requirements: None. If living in New York City, opportunity to do some work in person (shoot videos, attend weddings)
