Technical Account Manager (TAM)

Agora is a mobile-first, AI-powered outbound sales platform that helps small and mid-sized businesses turn unused leads into revenue—without hiring full-time sales reps. Using gig-based agents supported by real-time AI coaching and call analytics, we make sales efficient, flexible, and scalable for modern businesses.

We’re in early growth stages with several exciting clients in the pipeline, and we’re looking for a Technical Account Manager to help us build the onboarding and support experience from the ground up.

Role Overview:
As one of the first hires in this role, you’ll wear both a sales and customer success hat — helping prospective clients understand Agora, onboarding them smoothly, and creating repeatable playbooks for future growth.

This is not a traditional TAM role with an existing book of business. Instead, it's a chance to help shape how we support and grow our customer base as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to new leads and signups to help them start and understand their free trials
  • Guide early users through their first 30–60 days, helping them get value from the platform
  • Demo Agora to interested prospects and answer questions about features, pricing, and use cases
  • Help define and document customer onboarding flows and success metrics
  • Collect feedback from early users and work with product to improve user experience
  • Educate clients on features and best practices tailored to their business model
  • Build and improve internal playbooks for inbound sales, onboarding, and early lifecycle success
  • As we grow, assist with upsells or transitions to long-term paid plans

Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, proactive attitude
  • Experience in SaaS customer onboarding, technical support, or sales
  • Ability to explain tech products in clear, business-relevant language
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping create structure where none exists
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with CRM tools, AI platforms, or lead gen/sales tools
