Personal Finance Book Intern

Position: Editorial Research & Writing Intern for Personal Finance Author


Location: Hybrid (Boca Raton, FL area) or Virtual/Remote
Term: Fall 2025 (Start date flexible, likely late August)
Eligibility: Undergraduate or Graduate Students (Communications, Journalism, or related fields preferred)


About the Opportunity


Work directly with Bobbi Rebell, a nationally recognized personal finance expert, award-winning journalist, and bestselling author, as she develops a new edition of her acclaimed book, How to Be a Financial Grownup. This book uses real stories from top business leaders to deliver actionable personal finance advice for young adults. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in research, interviewing, and writing, while learning from one of the country’s top voices in money and financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and summarize current personal finance trends and best practices for young adults.
• Identify and profile today’s most relevant business leaders and entrepreneurs who resonate with Gen Z and Millennials.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and fact-checking book content.
• Help develop actionable financial tips inspired by leaders’ stories.
• Support outreach and interview preparation for business leaders and financial experts.

Ideal Candidate/Skills
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Interest in personal finance, business, or financial journalism.
• Ability to synthesize information from diverse sources and present it clearly.
• Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities facing young adults in personal finance.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a hybrid or virtual setting.
