Internal Communications Specialist
Join our team as an Internal Communications Specialist, where you’ll collaborate across departments to create engaging content that fosters a connected and informed workplace. We’re seeking a tech-savvy storyteller with strong design skills to produce compelling content in written, visual, and video formats that reflect our culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and design internal communications (e.g., newsletters, digital signage, video scripts) to engage employees.
- Simplify complex topics into visually appealing formats using tools like Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
- Produce employee spotlights, video interviews, and podcast content to amplify voices within the organization.
- Support the implementation of internal communication tools to analyze reach and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with departments for message alignment and maintain an organizational calendar for strategic communication.
- Attend meetings to gather material and create follow-up communications.
- Uphold PSCU's brand voice and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
- 1+years of experience in internal communications, graphic design, or digital media (internships welcome).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Proficient in graphic design and visual communication tools
- Experience with digital tools for content management and analytics.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and high personal work standards.
