Marketing and Investor Relations Executive Intern (Financial Services)

Demos is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Minneapolis. We invest in breakthrough startups and partner closely with founders to help build and scale their businesses. Demos was founded in collaboration with Zeus Jones — a nationally recognized brand and innovation consultancy — and we bring that same creative, founder-first mindset to venture capital. Our team is small and entrepreneurial, and we take a hands-on approach with both our investments and our investor (LP) relationships.

We’re looking for a Intern to join us and get direct exposure to venture capital, startups, and fundraising. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in VC, entrepreneurship, or finance who wants real-world experience in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

What You’ll Do

Research and build targeted lists of potential limited partners (LPs) for Fund III

Assist in preparing fundraising materials and investor communications

Help organize and coordinate events and meetings with founders and investors

What We’re Looking For

Undergraduate junior/senior or MBA student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field

Strong research and analytical skills

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Self-starter who is comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment

Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, and emerging industries

Timing: Summer 2025 (flexible start/end dates)
