
Non-Profit Development Intern
Florida Grand Opera is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Non-Profit Development Associate Intern to support our fundraising and administrative efforts. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in non-profit management, fundraising, grant writing, and business administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with fundraising administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, mailings, and document organization.
- Maintain and update donor databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support the development team in coordinating fundraising events and campaigns.
- Conduct research to identify potential donors, grant opportunities, and partnership prospects.
- Assist in the creation and proofreading of fundraising materials, including grant proposals, letters, and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for the non-profit sector and a desire to learn and grow in this field.
