10-20 hours per week $20 hour
We’re looking for a hybrid Graphic Design + Front-End Intern who is equally passionate about visual design and clean, responsive code. In this role, you’ll get hands-on experience crafting everything from websites and social graphics to sticker designs and merch—and you’ll bring some of those visuals to life in code.
You’ll work closely with both the design and development teams to translate creative concepts into polished, on-brand, functional experiences. If you’re a creative thinker who’s also comfortable in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React, this one’s for you.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually compelling assets across mediums—web, social, print, and merchandise
- Create marketing one-pagers, flyers, stickers, and branded merch
- Develop social media graphics tailored for different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Collaborate with teams to interpret and implement the brand kit in fresh, creative ways
- Translate Figma/mockups into responsive, production-ready front-end code
- Build and refine website UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React)
- Ensure web pages are optimized for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser performance
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and agile workflows
- Troubleshoot and debug design or UI-related issues
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma
- Solid grasp of design principles, typography, layout, and branding
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Experience turning mockups into responsive front-end implementations
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and collaborative mindset
- Portfolio that includes both visual design and web/UI work
Nice to Have:
- Experience with motion graphics or illustration
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles
- Interest in building modern, user-friendly web applications
- Understanding of Agile development processes
- Experience with tools like Jira or Trello
What You’ll Learn:
- Real-world web design + front-end development workflows
- How to blend creative and technical skills for full-spectrum UI/UX execution
- Working with APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services
- Best practices in responsive design, branding, and performance optimization
- Collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
