Nostos was founded by an experienced team, including both clinicians and patients with decades of experience tackling addiction. Join us in helping our heroes in reclaiming life from tech addiction, and become part of an innovative addiction program.
About the Role
Nostos Coaches lead virtual group sessions, ranging from 4-8 heroes per group, using a structured curriculum developed by experts. While no two group is the same, they do follow a general framework with time being roughly split between 1) Progress Review & Reflection, 2) Skills & Strategy, and 3) Action and Integration during the 60-minute session.
The role is flexible and part-time, starting with just a few hours per week, with opportunities to take on more as availability and interest grows.
In addition to leading groups, Coaches are encouraged to share feedback to help improve and adapt the curriculum to better serve our heroes’ needs.
Ideal Traits
- Experienced Group Facilitator: You know the nuances of groups, and can grab the curriculum and dive right in.
- Passion for Helping: You are deeply motivated in helping others through their most challenging times and approach each interaction with compassion and care.
- Adaptable: You thrive in environments where changes are needed in real time to better improve outcomes.
- License: While our virtual groups are psychoeducational (sub-clinical), you must be a licensed mental health professional.
