Indianapolis, IN Human Resources Coordinator

Pay Rate: $24 -26/hr

Job Type: Contract to Hire 

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping employee records up to date and our files in tip-top legal shape.
  • Coordinating recruitment efforts and onboarding new team members with a great first impression.
  • Supporting payroll with accurate data entry, deductions, and compliance reporting.
  • Maintaining HR systems and reports with keen attention to detail and a proactive eye for improvement.
  • Assisting with 401(k) tracking, benefit invoicing, and cultural initiatives like service awards and performance reviews.
  • Supporting employee inquiries with clarity, professionalism, and a helpful attitude.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of HR experience 
  • A passion for processes, people, and precision
  • Excellent organizational skills and a sense of ownership
  • Discretion, integrity, and sound judgment with sensitive information
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with timekeeping/payroll systems

This position is fully in office, 5 days a week.
