Job Summary:
This position will perform research and write a manuscript for publication in an academic journal. Work will be performed in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science in support of a NOAA grant, under the supervision of PI John Barth.

Key Responsibilities
Perform research, analyze/interpret data, draw conclusions from results, and help write a manuscript analyzing the data obtained by a multi-frequency acoustics instrument flow onboard an underwater glider off the Washington coast. Contribute to an inclusive and respectful work environment and work with the supervisor to ensure research findings are available and accessible to the public. (100%)
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in climate science or a related field. Ability to:
• Analyze data and plot scientific figures
• Clearly communicate scientific concepts, findings, and results
• Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming workplace environment for individuals with a range of different backgrounds, identities, perspectives, and/or life experiences
