Job Title: Guest Service Attendant 

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Overview:
Rock Haven Spa, located in the heart of Hays, Kansas, is seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Attendant to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, the Guest Service Attendant will play a key role in creating a welcoming and relaxing experience. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, assist with guest inquiries, and help ensure smooth daily operations at the spa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception & Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to the appropriate areas. Answer guest questions and provide information about spa services, treatments, and amenities.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for by delivering top-notch service. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, professionally, and with a positive attitude.
• Spa Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment. Ensure that all spa amenities are replenished and neat. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to ensure that the spa is always stocked with fresh and clean materials.
• Product Knowledge & Service Upselling: Be knowledgeable about all spa services and retail products, and assist guests in making product selections.  Upsell additional services based on client’s preference
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with spa service providers to ensure smooth communication and seamless guest experiences. Coordinate with the spa team to ensure treatments and services are performed on time.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of spa services or wellness industry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Occasional lifting and moving of light equipment or supplies.
• Must have a positive, professional, and energetic attitude.
