About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Summer Intern to lead the design and development of an updated OCBridge website. This internship offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, gain real-world experience, and build a portfolio-worthy project under the guidance of our leadership team.
What You'll Do:
- Design and prototype an updated OCBridge website aligned with our brand identity and business goals
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define user journeys
- Develop the website using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, or similar) or platforms (e.g., Webflow, Framer, WordPress depending on fit)
- Ensure responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly design
- Integrate basic CMS or admin dashboard functionality if needed
- Conduct testing and refine based on feedback
- Document your design and development process
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Web Design, Computer Science, HCI, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Wordpress, and at least one modern web framework (React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Understanding of responsive design and user-centered UX principles
- Can-do attitude and strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to take initiative and manage time independently
- Portfolio or sample projects
