
General Opera Administration Intern
General Opera Administration Intern: Support various opera administrative tasks, including assisting with budget management, contract administration, and vendor coordination.
- Marketing and Promotion: Assist in marketing activities, including the creation of promotional materials, social media content, and audience outreach.
- Development and Fundraising: Participate in fundraising efforts, grant writing, and donor relations to help secure resources for the opera.
- Ticketing and Box Office: Contribute to the ticketing process, help with box office management, and provide customer support.
- Logistics and Event Management: Support logistics planning for festival events and assist in on-site event management during the season.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Arts Management, Theater, Music, Business, etc.).
- Strong passion for and understanding of opera or at least, the performing arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
