While we support a remote work environment, this position requires a weekly on-site presence in Owosso, MI.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a skilled and people-focused team player.  The position supports day-to-day operations of the HR function, handing areas such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy implementation.  The role is essential to ensuring positive employee experience while upholding company values and HR best practices, and it offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working directly in the human resources; such as human resource administration, employee relations, benefit administration, and compliance. 
• Familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; along with organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, adapt to fast-changing environments, and grow within the role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SHRM-CP or PHR Certification
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, APD, Pingboard 
• Deep understanding of employment regulations such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines.
