Sales Intern

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic intern to support our efforts in expanding the club's membership base and enhancing community engagement. This position provides hands-on experience in recruitment strategy, marketing execution, and outreach to increase membership for our swim programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Strategically identify and engage with potential swim team members through outreach to local schools, athletic programs, and community organizations. Cultivate relationships to drive interest and secure new member commitments.
  • Outbound Marketing & Communication: Develop and implement targeted outreach campaigns, utilizing email, social media, and community platforms to raise awareness about Team Triumph’s programs and events.
  • Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Contact prospective members and families, effectively communicating the value of our swim programs and addressing any inquiries. Maintain follow-up communication to foster relationships and encourage enrollment.
  • Event Promotion: Assist with organizing promotional events and activities aimed at raising visibility within the community, such as swim demonstrations, open houses, and info sessions.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Track and report on recruitment efforts, membership growth metrics, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Utilize CRM tools to log outreach and follow-up activity.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, sports management, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently over the phone and in person.
  • Interest in community outreach and membership development.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Prior experience with cold calling or sales (preferred but not required).
