I really enjoyed the opportunity to hone my professional skills both in and out of the office. I was able to learn how to navigate professional events, congressional hearings and in-office work. I also had access to internal learning opportunities and workshops that enhanced my understanding of the company's cause.
What I wish was different
There's nothing I can think of that I would have changed.

What I liked
I was very involved and busy each and every day - there was never a dull moment. I felt like I was doing important and useful work that was furthering the team's missions and goals. Even the tedious work didn't feel like busy work. Great work environment - upbeat, casual, and energetic. Really good lunches were provided twice a week as well as breakfast every morning. The smaller size of the team meant that I was able to form close relationships with my coworkers.
What I wish was different
I think that my team needed two interns... I was very busy, which was great, but sometimes I was too busy.
Advice
Be bold! Offer up ideas, be creative. Really make use of your time there - the full time employees are incredible people and extremely willing to help you out, give you life advice, and let you work on new projects if you ask.
