What I liked
I liked how there was something for each intern to do. It wasn't random busy work, and my supervisor Jim was great at explaining things and making me feel comfortable in a new environment.

The diversity at the company could be expanded.

It's okay to not know how to do something, that's how you learn!

What I liked
SOFWERX is a great company for interns. You are given minimal assistance and are expected to deliver a high-quality end product. It really allows you to grow personally and professionally if you are able to work in such an environment.
What I wish was different
I wish there were a few more company-sponsored team building events with interns and employees.
Advice
Even if it's tough to get your standing in the beginning of your internship, keep at it and don't give up. You will grow more than you could imagine if you stay in the internship.
