What I liked

Experience was super multi-faceted; I was working with Education, Curatorial, Communications, etc. Also, it is hard to find a paid internship in art history, as well as an internship in art history that chooses undergrads. The Norton was an amazing place to build my resume and learn more about working in an art museum.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have done it longer!

Advice

Having been born in raised in Florida AND having gone to FSU, I was looking to get out of Florida for the summer. When I was offered an internship at the Norton, I accepted it even though it was in West Palm Beach, and it was the best decision of my life. My advice: never turn down an opportunity because you think you want something bigger - even the decisions you think you are settling for may be exponentially amazing!
