The work environment was amazing and the people there were very friendly. It was really cool to work on creating scripts and code that they would actually end up using for satellite operations.
What I wish was different
There were a few other interns and having group projects would have been nice.
Advice
Learn code, almost every engineering job will have you do some form of coding.

What I liked
I have enjoyed working with several different teams within the IT department. I usually (not always) have had a decent amount of freedom in how to approach my work so long as I meet my objectives and complete documentation assignments in a timely manner.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been another technical writer present to mentor me on the job.
Advice
The internship is full-time. If you are offered an internship extension or a job after the internship, know that you usually can negotiate for something that works around your school schedule. (Be aware that the internship is handled through a third-party staffing agency.)
