What I liked
My favorite part of this job was being able to lead and participate in the activities with the girls. In doing so, I was able to learn more about them which made it easier for me to connect with them.
What I wish was different
I would have really liked to have had a larger meeting area.
Advice
Working with young students is not an easy job but it is very rewarding. If you choose to put yourself in a position where you are going to interact with children, please take the time to smile, laugh, and learn with them, and make every effort to connect with them. This will have a huge impact on how they view and approach their experiences with other adults.
