What I liked

The employees at DuPont had a wonderful community and made me feel like I fit in as soon as I stepped on campus from the security guards to the upper-level management. I had constant check-ins to ensure I was enjoying my time there and gaining valuable experience.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more structure to the position. Although I enjoyed putting my own spin on assignments, there were times where I didn't know where I was going next.

Process improvement engineer

January - August 2019 • Moncks Corner, SC

What I liked

I was involved in various cost savings projects that were implemented before the end of my co-op term at this DuPont site. The site leader gave us (the co-ops and the interns) various opportunities to assume some leadership roles. I love the fact that every personnel I worked with at this site were so nice and willing to answer questions I asked them. They diligently follow HPWS. Also, strict attention to safety is their watchword. One of the core values at DuPont is RESPECT FOR PEOPLE. I will go back there if the opportunity presents itself again in the future.

What I wish was different

Nothing. I enjoyed the experience I acquired there.

What I wish was different

I wish I was given slightly more responsibility. There were times where I didn't have much work to do, which made the work day seem extremely long.
