What I liked
I loved getting to know the City Manager's Office Staff and working with them. The environment was friendly and I was treated like a teammate, not just an intern or volunteer.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time there to work and that I could have worked on more frequent projects. There were days when I had nothing to do so I did not get to work on any projects those days.
Advice
Take it! It was so great for me to understand the administrative side of local government and meet the movers and shakers of Virginia Beach.
