What I liked
I liked being able to work remotely so I could work in either my college town or hometown.
What I wish was different
We were transferred units several times and I wish we had stayed in the first unit we were hired to.
Advice
Be prepared to sit in front of a computer 45 hours a week.

What I liked
The culture, my team, my manager, and everyone I had the chance to meet. I had a great time learning new technical skills in SQL programming language, Microsoft Azure, and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate).
What I wish was different
I wish I had the opportunity to analyze data to create a report from scratch.
Advice
Prepare yourself to learn. Don't worry if you feel unprepared; you probably are. Just keep your mind open to learn new things and never be afraid of asking questions.

What I liked
I worked with my supervisor to prepare prospals for excess and surplus lines products. It was very innovative and interesting working with the nonaddmitted market.
What I wish was different
I wish I was with other interns so I could expand my connections with other students working for Assurant.
Advice
Be able to listen and apply the knowledge your supervisor or mentor provides for you.
