I liked being able to do a lot of things on my own and not being micro managed. I was given and trusted with responsibilities.

What I wish was different

I wish I could’ve kept this internship during the school year, but it is not in Miami.

What I liked

The employees at Arthrex were very helpful and always open to give advice and guidance. I learned a great amount about application performance monitoring which I had no previous experience working on. They allowed me to write my own scripts that were published, put in production, and used by teams. The company has a great culture, and the CEO puts a large emphasis on employees enjoying their work experience. Every employee I met was friendly and open to answering questions and creating a relationship.

What I wish was different

I had a very good internship experience, and there is nothing that I wish had been different.

Advice

The employees at Arthrex are very open to helping interns even out of their department; I was able to talk with with leaders in 2 other departments and learned a lot. Make sure to take advantage of this!
