Business Intelligence Internship

Status: Part-time; 2-3 office visits per week

Duration: Minimum 4 month commitment

Compensation: $450 monthly stipend, industry perks and course credit (if available) 

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to join the Premium Seats USA team. This person will be responsible for creating business related performance reports and dashboards. This person will be instrumental in extracting insights and trends that help our leadership teams to push the business forward. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze business performance and trends by developing a series of data quality worksheets/analyses in Tableau
  • This person would also be accountable for maintenance and improvements to our existing Tableau reports.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of reports/ Tableau workbooks
  • Create standard operating procedures for automated and ad-hoc reporting
  • Aggregate reporting to help leadership decide how to operate more efficiently
  • Collaborate with divisional team members on data requirements
  • Implement new solutions for the aggregation and maintenance of data and reporting
  • Streamline existing procedures to increase workflow and data integrity
  • Provide forecasting models for seasonal sales cycles
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

Your experience: 

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Actuary Science, or related field
  • Excellent Excel experience including use of formulas, pivot tables and charts that analyze month and year over trends
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated and energetic
  • Strong sense of ownership over your work and results
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
