DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with software engineering team to deploy and operate the systems and also help in automating and streamlining the operations and processes. You will be required to build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.

So if you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python or Java, we’d like to meet you.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

 

● Knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration

● Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent ● Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

● Basic understanding of SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)

● Basic understanding of Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes

● Experience working with - Tomcat web application server, Apache HTTP, Chef, TeamCity, RabbitMQ, Redis 

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

● Should be able to communicate in English.

● Having knowledge of other backend programming languages is an add-on.

● Familiarity with Node.js, AngularJs and Kubernetes. 

 

WORK EXPECTATIONS 

● Should be open to relocation in the United States.

● Should have a Work Visa (CPT/OPT/OPT Extension).
