ENGINEER - RESEARCH ENGINEER - SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

Job Summary:

Engage with a wide variety of clients to determine their mission goals and system requirements. Work with a team of antenna & RF engineers and software development staff to create innovative solutions that include antenna arrays, RF processing hardware, RF tuners, and software processing environments. Develop, integrate, test and deploy new capabilities in the areas of energy detection, channelization, signal recognition, signal demodulation and decoding and RF geolocation using a variety of techniques that include direction finding, time and frequency difference of arrival and other unique geolocation methods. Develop and deliver systems that incorporate all of these capabilities for space and near space, airborne, ground and special maritime applications across the globe.

Education/Experience:

Requires a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in signal processing, software and telecommunications. Must have at least a 3.3 GPA. Requires 0 - 6 years of experience with signal processing, software and telecommunications. Must be familiar with Matlab/Octave and/or numpy/scipy, Python, and C/C++. Experience with software defined radios and SDR frameworks like GNU radio and/or Redhawk/OSSIE a plus. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
