SDR Intern — Tiger Tail

Tiger Tail is an AI strategy and implementation agency. We help companies actually put AI to work instead of just nodding along in meetings about it.  Do I believe AI might usher in the apocalypse? Yes I do. Do I also shipping with Claude until 2am? Also yes. Two things can be true, if that vibes with you read on.

I have too much that I'm focused on and need someone to get conversations start with new clients. That's the job. You start the conversations.

This is a sales development role, which is a fancy way of saying you'll spend your day finding the right people and getting them on a call with us. Cold calls. LinkedIn DMs. Follow-up. List building. The unglamorous front end of every deal that's ever closed.

What you'll actually do

  • Outbound calls and DMs to a prospect list — we hand you lists, target industries, or maybe a concept, and you build a playbook and run it
  • Book qualified meetings on my calendar
  • Keep the CRM honest
  • Tell us what's landing and what's dying so we can change fast

What you need

  • You can talk to a stranger on the phone without short-circuiting
  • "No" doesn't ruin your afternoon
  • You're genuinely curious about AI and where this is all going
  • You want to learn how sales works in reality, not how TikTok/LinkedIn gurus says it works

What you won't get

  • A script to read like a hostage
  • Made-up busywork
  • A manager who vanishes

What you will get

  • Real reps on real pipeline from day one
  • A founder who'll actually teach you the why, not just the what

Compensation will be comprised of a base salary, commission on booked calls, and revenue share on any closed leads. 

This is an internship, but I hope you crush it and leave me no choice but to hire you full time.

Location: I'm based in Montclair NJ would like to meet with this person regularly, so giving a preference to locals.
