ABOUT T1DETERMINED, LLC

We are not a support group; we are an elite performance movement. T1Determined, LLC exists to shatter the cultural drift toward a diabetic victim mentality. Led by founder Joseph Marcello (NASM-CPT, CNC, WFR), we combine high-ticket athletic coaching, functional nutrition, and extreme mountain guiding to prove that Type 1 Diabetes is a catalyst for greatness, not an excuse to sit out.

Through The T1Determined Podcast, our upcoming documentary films (T1Kili: A Honeymoon Adventure and Expedition T1Denali), and our upcoming book Live Life Like A Diabetic, we deliver an aggressive, uncompromising message: Simplicity wins. Discipline yields absolute physical and mental freedom.

If you are looking for a comfortable, passive corporate internship, do not apply. If you want to get your hands dirty building a global media presence from the ground up, read on.

THE MISSION (YOUR ROLE)

As our Media Production & Podcast Operations Intern, you will own the syndication engine of our media track. You will take raw, gritty audio recorded on-trail and by the fireside in the White Mountains, the Berkshires, and beyond, and transform it into a polished, high-converting digital asset. You will ensure our message of ruthless execution reaches thousands of high-performing Type 1 athletes globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Podcast Architecture & Syndication: Own the weekly backend workflow for The T1Determined Podcast. Batch, edit, and schedule raw audio files into Libsyn, ensuring flawless distribution to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Asset Management & Quality Control: Maintain absolute structural organization of company media folders. You will be responsible for correctly deploying brand assets.

Content Micro-Slicing: Analyze long-form podcast episodes and documentary raw footage to extract high-impact, punchy short-form video clips (reels, TikToks, shorts) that drive traffic directly to our high-ticket coaching funnels.

WHO YOU ARE

Disciplined & Self-Directed: You do not need to be micro-managed. You treat deadlines as non-negotiable agreements.

Technically Capable: Proficient in audio/video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Auphonic, Descript, or similar) and familiar with podcast hosting platforms (Libsyn preferred).

Branding Conscious: You understand how to maintain visual and narrative consistency across multiple platforms.

Mission-Aligned: You believe that challenges are meant to be conquered, not coddled. Knowledge of or personal connection to the Type 1 Diabetes community or extreme endurance/mountaineering is a massive plus, but not a requirement.

WHAT YOU GET

Real-World Ownership: You won't be getting coffee. You will be directly responsible for the operational pipeline of a rapidly scaling media and coaching business.

Elite Mentorship: Work directly with the founders, gaining insight into high-ticket acquisition funnels, corporate sponsorship structures, and media monetization.

The Blueprint: Learn the behind-the-scenes execution required to launch major documentary projects and national book releases.
