Job Overview

Anvitek is seeking energetic, charismatic, and reliable Live Stream Hosts to join our growing e-commerce team in Ontario, CA. As the face of our Whatnot channel, you will host fast-paced live auctions, showcase exciting products, and build a vibrant community of bidders. 

We value potential over history. While prior live-selling experience is a plus, we are highly interested in newcomers who are confident on camera, eager to learn the industry, and possess a "stage presence" that can captivate an audience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Host Live Streams: Lead daily high-energy live sessions on Whatnot, managing real-time bidding and auctions. 
  • Drive Conversions: Use clear calls-to-action and negotiation talents to create urgency and encourage viewer participation. 
  • Engagement: Interact with audience comments in real-time to answer questions and foster brand loyalty. 
  • Product Presentation: Demonstrate product features and trending/viral items effectively to drive revenue. 
  • Adhere to SOPs: Follow company live-stream standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strictly comply with platform policies. 
  • Performance Analysis: Collaborate with the team to analyze sales performance and optimize future live events. 

Qualifications

  • Camera Confidence: Must be extremely comfortable appearing on camera and speaking continuously in a high-energy environment.  
  • Communication: Fluent English is required ; bilingual skills in English and Chinese are preferred. 
  • Sales Savvy: Knowledge of effective sales techniques or backgrounds in customer-facing roles is a strong plus. 
  • Tech Awareness: Familiarity with Whatnot, TikTok Live, or similar e-commerce streaming platforms. 
  • Reliability: Ability to commute to our office in Ontario, CA for scheduled live sessions.
