Help shape the future of how real estate associations create value through technology, strategic partnerships, and new business models.

 

Position Overview

The Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) is looking for a forward-thinking Business Innovation Intern who is passionate about exploring new ways organizations can grow, adapt, and lead. This is a learning opportunity to gain knowledge about emerging business models, leverage technology and networking to identify revenue-generating opportunities, and propose innovative business strategies.

 

Focus Areas

This internship is centered on four interconnected innovation pillars:

  • Alternative Business Models: Learn about revenue streams and sustainable partnership structures.
  • Technology-Driven Innovation: Identify tools and platforms that can power scalable, modern operations.
  • Media & Content Innovation: Explore monetization opportunities within ORRA’s studio and podcast programs.
  • Real Estate Education & School Innovation: Gain knowledge about the LEAP real estate school program and learn strategies to build a sustainable, profitable educational business recognized in the real estate market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze emerging, technology-enabled business models applicable to professional associations and real estate organizations
  • Propose and learn about innovative, data-informed strategies to diversify revenue and increase organizational impact
  • Support the development and management of affiliate partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic networking initiatives
  • Assist with process improvement and innovation within the real estate education program
  • Contribute ideas for how ORRA’s media studio and podcast programs can generate profit while offering new value for members and partners
  • Evaluate and recommend digital tools and platforms to streamline operations and support innovation goals
  • Participate in collaborative meetings, brainstorming sessions, and departmental projects 
  • Provide administrative and operational support as needed 
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to improve processes

 

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a Business undergraduate or graduate program
  • Genuinely curious about how organizations evolve, you read about startups, business models, and industry disruption for fun
  • Comfortable using technology and exploring new digital tools quickly
  • A strategic thinker who can back creative ideas with research and logic
  • A communicator, you can present ideas clearly to both peers and leadership
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Collaborative and professional in a team environment

Internship Details

Compensation: This internship is an unpaid learning opportunity. Hours can be used to fulfill academic credits if needed.

Start Date: We are looking to onboard students as soon as possible.

Schedule: Flexible three-day-per-week schedule. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with schedules coordinated in advance.

Work Environment: Fully in-person opportunity. No remote options available.
