Technical Sales Development Representative

Location: Woburn, MA, U.S.

Job description 

digiM solution LLC, is a world leader in microstructure science and advanced imaging for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science industries. We are seeking to fill an immediate Sales Development Representative (SDR) position to support our rapidly growing business. Depending on the success of the candidate selected, this position has the potential to develop into an individual contributor role in the commercial team.

Using a variety of marketing and sales tools, the SDR will focus on prospecting, creating and developing new business opportunities for digiM’s CRO business and software platform, digiM I2S. The SDR will support the ongoing commercial activities assigned by Account Managers, marketing managers and the leadership team, as necessary.

Experience critical to success:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in business and/or life science, chemistry, pharmaceutical related or engineering degree
  • 1-2+ year experience in sales in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or material science industries is a plus
  • Enthusiastic about helping customers with technology and science.
  • Familiarity with sales process and at least one CRM tool
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.

Tasks and Duties:

  • Daily cold calls and reach outs to prospective customers and clients
  • Daily email, LinkedIn and/or other platforms updates and reach outs to prospective clients and prospects
  • Create and develop business opportunities for digiM’s CRO business and I2S software platform.
  • Support digiM commercial team completing follow up related activities and assignments 
  • Conduct market search and lead generation activities to ensure the growth of the sales pipeline.
  • Manage and report sales bookings, potential sales, customer feedback and activity plan and other reports as required.
  • Perform marketing related tasks, as necessary 

Travel:

0-10%

Compensation:

$80,000+

Minimum $80,000 on Target Earning. Total earning depends on experience and performance. 

Compensation is experience and background dependent. Benefits include a competitive base salary, performance-based commission (uncapped), 401k account with employer matching, full medical coverage, dental insurance, paid sick time off, paid vacation, and future stock options.
